American roulette

The roulette was brought in America by French emigrants. The first mentions about it were found in New Orlean in the beginning of the 19 century. In spite of great popularity it had in the conservative Europe the roulette was not so popular in the USA where people prefered to play poker and craps.

The roulette consists of a special wheel with holes for all 38 numbers, where 18 numbers are of the red colour, 18 - of the black colour and also zero and double zero which have no colour. Bets are done on the field of the roulette marked specially.

Numbers on the roulette wheel are placed in a special order:
0, 28, 9, 26, 30, 11, 7 , 20, 32, 17, 5, 22, 34, 15, 3, 24, 36, 13, 1, 00, 27, 10, 25, 29, 12, 8 , 19, 31, 18, 6, 21, 33, 16, 4, 23, 35, 14, 2.

Moreover the numbers are divided into black and red, 18 of them are even, 18 - odd, 18 - low, 18 - high. Bets named "simple"or "equal chances" can be done on all these differences. A bet on any equal chance is payed in case of a winning 1:1.
Bets are not limited by equal chances.

It's possible to do bets of any amount and as many as you can but not less than the minimum and maximum defined on the concrete playing table. In case zero or double zero drops out all the bets on dozen, columns and equal chances lose.

For the game of roulette prise counters which take place at all roulette tables and special roulette chips are used. These coloured chips are marked on a special tree (marker tree) and have value only at the concrete playing table. Every player can use only the chips of concrete colour so that a croupier has got opportunity to control the game and know whom a winning belongs to.

At first a croupier suggest the player to do bets the he turns the roulette wheel and throws the ball from the number that was the last to win in the way opposite to the wheel turn. While the ball is spinning the players are doing their bets. Three circles before the ball stops the bets are not accepted any more. They can't be done, changed or taken back. After the ball has stopped a croupier announces a lucky number and designates it with a special marker. He takes away the bets lost after that he pays all the bets won. Then the game goes again.
